Q. What are your operating hours?

A. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and respond to emergency situations within a 4-hour window.

Q. Are your prices competitive?

A. Our prices are competitive, affordable and consistent. Once we have isolated your electrical problem we will give you an upfront price for the total job. With Zappit electrical you can rest assured that no hidden “extras” will pop up part way through the job.

Q. Why do you charge a call-out fee?

A. In order to give you an upfront, accurate, ‘no hidden fees’ quote, we need to troubleshoot the problem. The call-out fee pays for the electrician to assess the problem and devise a solution. Since we are paid for our time and diagnosis, we don’t look for ‘unnecessary repairs’ or try to ‘find’ excuses to justify high prices.

Q. Are parts under warranty? If so, for how long?

A. All of our work comes with a warranty. Parts supplied by Zappit are under warranty for one year unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

Q. How quickly can I get someone to fix the problem?

A. Our turnaround time is within 24 hours and up to 4 hours on emergency calls. We will schedule a service call when it’s convenient to you, and can SMS you 30 minutes prior to our arrival. Ultimately, our response time will depend upon our workload, but we’ll get someone there as quickly as possible.

Q. What payment types do you accept?

A. MasterCard, Visa, direct debit, cheques and cash.
